These two wars were actually the largest military conflict that has ever been experienced in human history (Immell 29). The First World War was fought between countries because of need to acquire resources, territory or colonies, while as the Second World War was because of ideological differences such as communism and fascism. Both wars resulted to destruction of many properties, many people lost their lives and countries became enemies of each other.World War I was mainly fought from trench lines and backed up by machine guns and artillery, tanks, poisonous gas, infantry assault and early aircrafts. The warfare entailed minimal mobility because of its static nature. On the other hand, World War II entailed the use of missiles and nuclear powers, specia l operations and modern covert concept. There were also heavy use of tanks and submarines (Immell 33). More complexity were witnessed on the encryption codes for the confidential communication. Blitzkrieg fighting techniques was utilized by Germany.Apart from the moral blame of the conflict being laid on Germany, the Versailles treaty which was signed at the end of the First World War also forced the Germans to ensure that the war victors received huge payments ("World War I Vs World War II - Difference and Comparison | Diffen"). These reparations payments were required by Britain and France so that their own debts could be settled. However, they were arguably unjustifiable, highly onerous and deeply hated in Germany.
